Camp, Guide badge, May 16

Hi Families!

I will stop saying this is the last post of the year, because things keep coming up!! Please note the following:

1.       The list of things to bring for camp is in the post below.

2.       Please check to make sure your brownie has all the keys they have earned this year. These include:

a.       Key to the Living World
b.      Key to Camping
c.       Key to Active Living
d.      Key to I Can

3.       For those girls wanting more signatures on their Brownie shirts, please bring the shirts to our May 16th meeting. The markers will be there to get missing signatures.

4.       For girls moving to Guides, please check out this neat opportunity on May 25:
The Faculty of Engineering of the University of Ottawa, in collaboration with the Ontario Network of Women in Engineering (ONWiE), is offering Engineering Badge Days at University campuses across the province. Girls will get a chance to visit our faculty and meet with female mentors while learning first-hand about engineering careers. They will also take part in hands-on activities to earn the Girl Guides Science and Technology Engineering Badge. Girls and guiders will leave with new skills, knowledge and inspiration about the world of engineering.

The event will be held at the University of Ottawa on Saturday May 25th at SITE building, 800 Kind Edward Avenue, Ottawa.
